| Description | High prices for e-hailing services such as Grab, put a huge pressure on tight-budgeted students. Drive2U@UM is an existing ride service for the students that offer cheaper alternatives. Currently, Drive2U@UM is fully operating on Telegram channel where students send their request for a ride by posting messages in the channel. The request message consists of the venue for pickup, the venue of drop-off, the date and time of request, and the total number of passengers. Meanwhile, the available drivers will post their WhatsApp link for potential passengers to message them directly. This project aims to provide a mobile app for passengers and drivers in UM campus to provide or request for ride services. The app allows passengers to submit requests easily and drivers to post availability and accept requests with ease. |
