This project focuses on the development of MYCONF, a conference management system
designed to address specific shortcomings in existing platforms. The main objectives were to
identify and analyze issues in current systems, develop a tailored solution, and evaluate its
effectiveness. The research began with a thorough literature review to explore inefficiencies
such as limited data processing capabilities, manual report generation, and inadequate
analytics. By employing a waterfall methodology with prototyping, the project gathered
detailed requirements and designed MYCONF to include features like automated data
processing, comprehensive report generation, robust analytics, enhanced collaboration tools,
and a modern user interface. Key findings include streamlined data handling, automated
reporting, advanced analytics, and improved user interaction, demonstrating the system’s
capability to enhance the conference management experience. In conclusion, MYCONF
effectively resolves the issues present in existing systems, providing a comprehensive and user
friendly solution. This project underscores the importance of user-centric design and iterative
development in creating impactful solutions for real-world problems.
