The purpose of the project is to develop a mobile application that scan products and generate QR Code for the customer to make payment at the shop. Not only that it allows to view that information of products or items, add cart and usable by the cashier to scan customer QR Code to identify the total price and cash change should be given, but it also has an Administrator web page for the record the products information’s as well as allows monitoring the product inventory. This project is done for the “SRI MAWAR JAYA” shop at Johor. Currently, they don’t have any system or mobile application platform to monitor and analyses their product sales. There are several applications that can be usable by those shop, but the price is not affordable and the applications mostly online and only usable by the customer. This application delivers a user-friendly interface with easily understandable data interpretation which will ease the customer and admin as well as staff working under the SRI MAWAR JAYA shop. Besides that, the scanning barcode feature reduces the time on making payments at counter payments. This system will display the current information of the product as well as helps the admin to monitor the availability of stock, outcome and income of sales. This mobile-based barcode payment system targeted to the grocery store “SRI MAWAR JAYA” management admin, staff working at payment counter and customers. Furthermore, a database will be included and incorporated with the system to store data and organize data so that easier for the process of retrieval and updating data.
