The academic sharing platform is developed in web-based system with several features and simplified and neat interface for easier the user to use this system. Students nowadays facing bundled of academic load every day. Tutorials, assignments, and exam has become a basic need for every student when educated. Academic materials that have done by senior or friend after they completed a specific subject is importance and will play an important role to help students in their study. Huge amount of usage if paper in university by students has been a serious issue to the environment. Hence, an online platform that able students to share academic materials either in softcopy or hardcopy between friends and enlarge students social circle is important. In order to encourage the habit of sharing academic materials between students and find out will the academic materials pass by senior help in their academic, we have conducted this research to study the sharing habit between University Malaya students and what is the result on UM students having a centralized platform to share and get academic materials. Therefore, to achieve the goal of our research, we will develop a platform contain several functionalities which serve as tool for the research. Other than the basic upload and download feature, it will input the chat and forum system to investigate how it work and make work more efficient.
