This project will be the description of the Augmented Reality Oral Hygiene Application, which is develop for parents to monitor their children oral health. The aim of the project is to develop an application that can be as monitoring apps which have timer and reminder function for kids brush teeth with the correct timing, and at once as educational apps which have character guidance in showing proper toothbrushing in AR camera for kids brush teeth properly with the correct way guidance. We are also create game feature as reward to them after done great brushing, it is the way to attract kids interest to use the apps. The problem statement of the project, most of dental carries problem are from preschool children. Other than that, kids didnt brush their teeth properly with the correct timing. Therefore, our objectives of this application are to show the proper way to brush teeth, to educate on oral hygiene knowledge, and also to engage kids to brush teeth for 2 minutes at a time. With the creation of this application, there are several benefits to society, which are new generation will grow with correct knowledge of oral hygiene, reduce cost for dental treatment, reduce time for simple thing, dentist only need for critical thing. The application to be developed through this project is intended for use by parents who have children aged 12 years and under. The system proposed to be developed by using an Android application platform. The proposed project would the solution to the many parents who facing dental caries problem among their children. I hope that this application will really useful and help them successfully improving good habits in oral hygiene.
