This project is mainly planned and developed to solve problems faced by people that find it difficult to visit a dentist's clinic due to various reasons. The system scope consists of diagnosing oral diseases and providing further information on the diseases including recommended treatments for the diagnosed disease. The system is designed based on the expert system model that includes inference engine, knowledge base and user interface. A prototype of the system is developed together with UML diagrams to view the system from the user's perspective. Prolog is used to develop this system.
