In many cases, an emergency will occur in a domestic setting, such as in a marriage or cohabitation and sometimes involve the family members. This violence may result in danger and death if they do not have the power to inform the authorities verbally. When the victim gets violented, they have most likely been monitored by the abuser. The victim may be afraid to call the hotline, respond and explain what happened to them to the authorities.

Therefore, the objectives of this system are to develop an emergency rescue system using the location tracking feature in the smartphone for authorities to access the exact location of victims and ease domestic violence victims to get emergency assistance immediately. Other than that, to provide advice, options, online consultation, and emotional support for domestic violence victims, and to raise awareness and understanding of domestic violence issues among Malaysians. This project aims to make emergency assistance, better support and awareness for domestic violence victims that unable to speak or communicate their movements loudly to ask for help.

The system requirements were conducted during the interview with the various stakeholders, including the victims and the activist related to domestic violence. For the development methodology, the agile model is implemented in this project because this project will be having a discussion and review from the collaborator and supervisor. This model is the best to handle complex projects. Based on the collected requirements, this system will include 11 modules and 72 functional requirements. This proposed system is expected to facilitate all domestic violence victims in Malaysia.
